Inventory — browse and filter all items & assemblies
The Inventory page lists every item and assembly with live stock levels, demand, supply, cost indicators and minimum stock alerts across all 19 columns.

What is the Inventory page?

The Inventory page lives under Products › Inventory. It is the master list of every item and assembly in your catalogue — everything you make, buy or hold. Each row is a single product record and carries its live stock position, order quantities, quality settings, supplier links, cost data and bill of materials all in one place.
- Two product types: Item (standalone purchasable or manufacturable part) and Assembly (multi-part product with its own Bill of Materials)
- 19 columns covering stock position, demand, supply, cost and traceability — scroll horizontally to see all
- Filter by Type, Status, Product ID prefix or component usage to narrow the list
- Click + Add Item / Assembly to start the registration wizard
Every row shows a coloured dot next to the Minimum Stock Level value. Green = stock is at or above the minimum. Amber = stock is close to the minimum. Red = stock is below the minimum — reorder immediately. The dot turns red even when stock is exactly zero and a minimum is set.

Every column in the Inventory table explained — what it shows and how to use it.

| Thumbnail | Small image thumbnail — the primary drawing or image set on the product. Blank if no image has been uploaded. |
| Product ID | Your internal product code — e.g. ASE-115, GLC-001-01, PAN-23. Set at registration and used across all modules (POs, WOs, sales orders). |
| Product Name | The full product name — e.g. Aston Martin Exhaust, Bamboo Handle, Carbon Fiber. |
| Status | ACTIVE — the product is live and can be used in orders. ARCHIVED — retired; hidden from most pickers but history is preserved. |
| Type | Item — a standalone purchasable or manufacturable part. Assembly — a multi-part finished product with its own Bill of Materials and production route. |
| Total Stock | The net on-hand quantity across all warehouse locations. A green ▲ means stock is above zero; a red ▼ means a negative ledger (more consumed than received). Shown in the product's base unit — e.g. kg, ea, m, l. |
| Allocated | Units earmarked for a specific sales order pick but not yet despatched. Reduces the Available count. |
| Reserved | Units soft-reserved for a works order or another process. Also reduces Available. |
| Available | Total Stock minus Allocated minus Reserved. This is the "free to sell or use" quantity. A green ▲ is healthy; a red figure means you are oversold. |
| QTY SO | Open quantity on live Sales Orders — e.g. 5 for Aston Martin Exhaust or 3 for Biodegradable Cleaning Brush. Demand not yet fulfilled. |
| QTY PO | Quantity on open Purchase Orders not yet received — e.g. 56 for Aston Martin Exhaust, 2 for Bottle Cap. Supply in transit. |
| QTY WO In | Quantity scheduled to be produced by open Works Orders — e.g. 5,004 for Aston Martin Exhaust. Assembly production in progress. |
| Awaiting Kitting | Units waiting to be kitted (components picked) before production can start. Appears on assemblies when a works order is ready to kit. |
| Available Soon | Stock expected to arrive (from open POs or WOs) within the near term. Shown as — when no incoming supply is scheduled. |
| Buildable | For assemblies — the number of complete units that can be built right now from current stock of all BOM components. 0 means at least one component is missing. |
| Sold 12Mo | Units despatched on completed sales orders in the last 12 months. Used to calculate reorder points and understand velocity. |
| Used 12Mo | Units consumed by works orders in the last 12 months. High values indicate a critical component used heavily in manufacturing. |
| Min. Stock Level | Your configured minimum stock threshold. The coloured dot signals health: green = at or above minimum, amber = close to minimum, red = below minimum. The number is the threshold value — e.g. 10 (red) for Bamboo Handle means it should hold at least 10 ea but currently has fewer. |
| Reorder QTY | How many units to order when stock hits the minimum. Used by MRP to auto-suggest purchase orders. Shows — when not set. |
| Lead Time | Supplier lead time in days. MRP uses this to back-calculate the latest order date for on-time delivery. Shows — when not set. |
| Per Unit | The base unit of measure — e.g. Each, Kilograms, Meters, Liters. This is the unit all stock figures are expressed in. Editable via the dropdown. |
| Stock / Warehouse | A View link that opens a breakdown of stock by warehouse location — useful when an item is held across multiple sites. |
| Used In | How many assemblies this item is a BOM component of — e.g. Used In 9 for Carbon Fiber means it appears in 9 different assembly BOMs. Click the link to see which assemblies. |
| Action | View opens the full item detail page with all tabs — General, Route, Quality, Barcode, History, Allocations, Suppliers, Transactions, Cost & valuation, Units and Lifecycle. |

Filters

Four filter dropdowns sit above the table. Combine them to find exactly the products you need without scrolling through all 23 records.

| All types | Item / Assembly / All types | Show only standalone Items (purchased components) or only Assemblies (built products with a BOM). Default shows both. |
| All statuses | Active / Archived / All statuses | Active is the default — use Archived to find retired products or check old stock levels. |
| Product ID prefix (GLC, ASE…) | Any product ID prefix — e.g. GLC, ASE, PAN | Filter to a specific product family by ID prefix — e.g. entering GLC shows only GLC-001, GLC-001-01, GLC-001-02 and GLC-002-04. Useful when you have organised IDs by category. |
| any component | Search by component name or ID | Find all assemblies that contain a specific component — e.g. type Carbon Fiber to see all assemblies whose BOM includes PAN-23. Used to trace where a component is consumed. |
The Search records box (top-right of the toolbar) is a free-text search across Product ID and Product Name — useful for finding a specific item instantly without setting filters.
Section 05
Stock indicators at a glance

Three visual cues help you read stock health without opening each product record.
▲ Green arrow — positive stock
Appears in the Total Stock and Available columns when stock is above zero. Example: ▲ 2 ea (Bamboo Handle), ▲ 10 m (Carbon Fiber). Green is healthy — you have units to sell or use.
▼ Red arrow — negative stock
Appears when more units have been consumed or allocated than physically received — a ledger deficit. Example: ▼ 1 ea (box 1, box 2). Investigate immediately — a receipt or adjustment is likely needed.
● Minimum Stock dot — below / at / above threshold
The dot next to the Min. Stock Level value changes colour based on your configured threshold. Green = healthy, amber = approaching minimum, red = below minimum (reorder now). Carbon Fiber and Coconut Fiber Bristles show green (●0) — no minimum set or stock is above it. Bamboo Handle shows red (●10) — threshold is 10 but current stock is below that.
The Upload Excel button in the toolbar lets you import a spreadsheet to update product details, stock adjustments or prices in bulk — faster than editing each record individually. Download the current inventory as Excel first to get the correct column format, then edit and re-upload.
